The FTP Movement: Revolutionary Action for Collective Survival
Founded in June 2004, the FTP Movement was forged in the fires of resistance against a system that thrives on the disregard of the poor and the maintenance of oppressive conditions. We are a grassroots response to systemic neglect—a movement built not on wealthy donors or tax-exempt status, but on the unwavering hearts and labor of our members.

We are not "activism as usual." The FTP Movement is a modern, action-oriented network of everyday people—organizers, activists, and warriors—who value life enough to fight for it. We are a collective of individuals and organizations committed to the total survival, wellbeing, and liberation of our people.

Fronts of Resistance

To meet the complex needs of our community, the FTP Movement operates through several dedicated pillars:

-
Mama’s Army: Promoting holistic living and wellness, this initiative focuses on the health and vitality of the backbone of our community, ensuring our resistance is sustainable and grounded in care.
-
Siafu Youth Corps: We are dedicated to the political education and discipline of the next generation, molding young leaders into the "ants" (Siafu) of the revolution—small in stature but unstoppable in unified force.
-
Urban Survival & Preparedness Institute (USPI): We provide rigorous training in self-reliance, tactical preparedness, and emergency response, ensuring our people are equipped to survive and thrive in an increasingly unstable world.
-
Afrikan Martial Arts: Physical and mental discipline are core to our movement. Through traditional Afrikan combat systems, we cultivate the warrior spirit necessary for self-defense and community protection.

Our Mandate: Resistance and Resilience
In our pursuit of love, peace, and happiness, we remain clear-eyed: we must resist and overcome tyranny and oppression relentlessly. We do not wait for permission to be free. We build our own institutions, defend our own neighborhoods, and define our own destiny.
"FTP is more than a movement; it is a commitment to the people’s survival by any means necessary."
